CooknShare is a Malaysian community of Thermomix® advisors, instructors, and home cooks. This website — cooknshare.my — is operated by:

When this policy says “we”, “us”, or “CooknShare”, that is who it means. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@cooknshare.my — a real person reads it.

We collect personal data in one main place: the “Register your interest” form on this site. If you fill it in, you give us:

• your name
• your phone number
• your email address
• what you are interested in — classes, buying a Thermomix®, or becoming an advisor
• the Thermomix® model you own, if any
• how often you cook
• your favourite dish
• a referral code, if you arrived through an advisor’s personal link

That is it. We do not ask for anything the team would not need in order to actually help you. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we also hold whatever you choose to send us in that conversation.

• To respond to your enquiry and point you to the right class, advisor, or next step.
• To send you class updates and community news — but only if you ticked the consent checkbox on the form. No box, no marketing.
• The referral code tells us which advisor introduced you, so we can connect you with someone who already knows your context.

Form submissions are stored with Supabase, our database provider, in their Singapore region. Supabase encrypts data in transit and at rest, and access on our side is limited to the small CooknShare team who respond to enquiries.

Because Singapore is outside Malaysia, this is a cross-border transfer of your personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We chose this provider for its security practices, and we keep your data there only for as long as we need it to do the things described in this policy.

• We never sell or rent your personal data. To anyone.
• We never send marketing without your checkbox consent — and every update we send includes a simple way to opt out. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any message or emailing hello@cooknshare.my.
• We never share your data with third parties, except the service providers that run this site (such as Supabase, above) or where Malaysian law requires us to.

Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 gives you rights over your personal data. You can:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate
• withdraw your consent to marketing at any time
• ask us to delete your data

To exercise any of these, email hello@cooknshare.my. We will respond as quickly as we can, and within any timeframe the PDPA sets.

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the “last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we will say so plainly on the site rather than bury it here.
